Chapter 6 Miya-sama ni TS Tensei

Chapter 6 It's Sakurako, but the person from Aizu in me is screaming in excitement

(RAW https://ncode.syosetu.com/n4960en/)

 Imperial subjects of the Great Japanese Empire, how do you do.

 As the Imperial Princess, I, Fujimiya Sakurako greets everyone of the Imperial subjects in the name of His Majesty.

 The rise of our Empire rests on your shoulders.

 Whether you are on a rice field, plantation field, a forest, the sea, on a river, in a mine, a factory, a corporation, a construction site, in a hospital, a small store, and then even in the army. In addition, ladies and gentlemen who works hard dripping in sweat in many other places everyday, I cannot offer you enough gratitude for fulfilling your duties and services.

[Today too, thank your for all of your hard work. Let us do our best tomorrow too!]

[This message is given by the Imperial Princess Fujimiya Sakurako. The time will soon be seven o'clock in the evening. This is J-AK, the number one Japan National Broadcasting Company broadcasting to you]

 Ahh I wanna die...

 Un. This is Sakurako who was performing as a clown brilliantly.

 It's necessary to have a human sacrifice to expand national influence isn't it...

 Ah! By the way, Otou-sama is in the middle of transferring to Tsugaru, the Western Region of Aomori Prefecture.
 Until mid-September, Okaa-sama and I also visited Hirosaki, but because Tsugaru seems cold in winter, we fled back to Tokyo before winter comes!

 I thought I could see apple orchards as far as my eyes could see while I was in Tsugaru, but that's not the case.
 The orchards were here and there sporadically. It seems that it was only after the war that it got expanded more.

 And then, I could hardly understand the zuuzuu dialect I heard! (Thick Tohoku dialect)
 Dialect is awesome...

 So, in historical fact, it was the Aizawa incident which should have occurred in August, but it seems that the assassination of Nagata Tetsuzan on this world line was apparently prevented.
 There are still many scary spots in history, that's why I can't be completely unprepared, but still, can I feel relieved for now?

 And if it's tetsuan (it said Tetsuan but probably Tetsuzan, a typo from author) route, would the 2/26 incident occur? This has completely become unpredictable.
 In this era, it is said that the person named Nagata Tetsuzan had so much influence.

 How do I say this? It feels like playing a HoI mod (Hearts of Iron) where you start in 1935.

 Incidentally, Lieutenant Aizawa has gotten himself demoted to Taiwan. Well, it looks like he was scheduled to be appointed in Taiwan originally. Immediately following his transfer, he met an accident and died.
 It's scary that we don't know what could happen while overseas isn't it...

 But I digressed.

 And so, today I am visiting Tokyo suburban district's town.

 "what are you doing there" you asked?

 Well, to put it bluntly it looks like a simple walk though?
 Once in a while, if I don't stretch my wings, I'd be upset from stress, the cityscape of pre-war Tokyo is quaint and it made me feel better.

 The lady attendant and escort came along though, so it's a minus that I am not completely at liberty.
 This is already my destiny from being reincarnated, so I have given up about it.

"Fujimiya-sama, please wait for a moment" {Attendant}

"It's the Imperial Family's responsibility to inspect on the life of its subjects you know" {Sakurako}

"Even if you say so, Fujimiya-sama is actually just want to go to a candy store, isn't she?" {Attendant}

 How did you know?

"I want to inspect the eating habits of the common people..." {Sakurako}

"Fine then. But just remember that it's none of my business if Her Highness gets angry again." {Attendant}

 Dagashikasi (BUT)! (Dagashi) Cheap snacks(or candies) are the one tempting me!

 In other words, I AM INNOCENCE.

 That has already been proven.

"If it's about Okaa-sama, when I returned home I would buy her walnut yubeshi, that should ease her temper immediately" {Sakurako}

"Um, where exactly the store that sells walnut yubeshi?" {Attendant}

"uum, maybe such as in Ginza or Nihonbashi Japanese Sweets shop?" {Sakurako}

"I think Her Highness wishes for walnut yubeshi from Aizu though?" {Attendant}

 Well, Okaa-sama is related to Aizu after all, so there's that?
 But, Okaa-sama's birth place was in England instead of Aizu though!

 Rather than Aizu accent, she speaks more like a returning daughter with a king swinglish after all. (King swenglish English that got mixed with Sweden and Switzerland in grammars for example)

"Do they selling it at Chosuya I wonder?"{Sakurako}

 Charge, to Chosu! There shall be no mercy!

 But in fact, Aizu lost in Boshin War and couldn't avenge Chosu, thus for the sake of eating Japanese cake in peace, should I call it Chosuya?
 I don't know the details. But I'm certain I'm not off the mark either.

[Should this resentment be driven to the northern land's frigid winter!?]

 Is it something like this? People of Aizu is tenaciously scary...

 Well, I think they deserved sympathy because Aizu was made into a scapegoat, and they even got abandoned by the Shogunate.
 Everything is the fault of Satsuma Chosu's bumpkins and that single-minded Yoshinobu!

"Chosuya should only be selling sweet bean jelly and kuzumochi though?" {Attendant}

 Say huwaatt!?

 The supposedly famous Chosuya's walnut yubeshi in Aizu isn't being sold at Nihonbashi's Chosuya, you said?
 It's the same name, but it was actually not the same franchise?

 I screwed up ...

"....sour kelp is waiting for me~🎵" {Sakurako} (it seems being told to eat sour kelp is her usual punishment)

 Then again, things like Chosuya or Chokadoya, stores with that kind of names could be found all over the place in Japan.

"Ah! She escaped. Fujimiya-sama, please wait!" {Attendant}

 あ、くるみゆべしは備後屋にありましたので、ちゃんと買って帰りました!
